Developmental (Educational) Psychology

Developmental (Educational) Psychologists study the cognitive processes, behavioural issues and developmental factors that affect learning; and how learning environments and individual differences influence educational outcomes. They work with educational organisations and families to assess, identify, clarify, diagnose and support problems. They offer online and school consultations and assessments focussing on child development, wellbeing, mental health needs and learning needs (for children and young people aged 0-25). Our team provide assessments; post-diagnostic support for children with ASD/ADHD/developmental disorders etc, as well as advice and strategy focussed support.

Clinical Psychology

Clinical Psychologists are qualified to post graduate level in the scientific study of the mind and what influences our behaviour. Clinical Psychologists work in mental health and typically have a broad range of clinical experience, often having worked in NHS or community mental health settings, as well as in private practice. Their practice covers common mental health conditions and some specialise in more complex conditions. They use a range of psychological and psychotherapeutic approaches, such as CBT, DBT, EDMR etc. They can also specialise in assessment and diagnosis or conditions. Clinical Psychologists can specialise in particular areas, such as Education, Forensics, Neuro etc.

Organisational Psychology

Organisational Psychology is the scientific study and application of psychological principles to the workplace and organisations. It is the science of how people think and behave at work - it aims to help organisations set up their processes so that their employees have a safe and satisfying work-life experience. This is turn has a positive impact on organisations themselves - in terms of wellbeing, productivity, employee retention, and even financial turnover. It is a growing field and increasingly used to improve organisations and the workplace experience. Its explores areas such as organisation systems and processes; communication; workplace climate and culture; and recommends potential interventions needed.
